Every practical item taught in the courses: remedies, brahmastra, vidhi, usara, energy boosting, testing methods, muhurta rules, principles, devtas and predictions.
A well older than 25 years is a pujya (revered) seat of Varun devta and must never be filled in without a vidhi: transfer its deities into a coconut, lower a kalash, fill it with river sand and soil, and leave the coconut in a working well.
Sunlight falls first on the walls and the wall colour reflects energy onto the people, so colours of the element opposite to the owner's rashi or kundli can ruin an otherwise good vastu.
Mustard carries the energy of every hand that touched it, so it is washed or rubbed in a wet cloth and then energised with the raksha mantra, dipping two fingers into it or holding it in the fist. The same mantra energises gomti chakra.
The North to North-East location of the water element means water sources such as borings, wells and tanks are made below ground level there, not as overhead tanks. Roof-top water should also drain towards the water element direction.
Vedic vastu describes that a water body in the West, the place of Varun, with one lotus blooming in it reduces all the vastu doshas of the house. It must be raised above the ground, never dug.
The water element is wavy or moon-shaped, white, located from North to North-East, liquid by nature and ruled by the Moon and Venus. Borings, wells, underground tanks, basins and other water sources represent it; balanced it brings joy, peace, confidence and wealth, imbalanced it brings irritation, disease and loss of money.
The water element mandna is used from NNW through North to NNE and NE to balance an imbalanced water element; it suits industrial, commercial and residential buildings.
The water element is shown by a silver or white half moon, its colour is white, its zone runs from North to North-East and its metal is silver; water bodies and mirrors represent it.
In swar vigyan the water element flows in the body for 16 minutes of every hour; that period is the joyful time of the hour, and work done in it succeeds.
The ishaan is the place of Jupiter and water belongs to the Moon, so a kalash filled with water in the North-East creates Gajkesari yoga (Moon with Jupiter) in the home.
The West, 45 degrees beyond the South-West, is ruled by Varun, the lord of water, with Saturn (Shani) as planet and neelam (blue sapphire) as stone. It builds the future and gives prosperity and wealth, and its power is felt after sunset, growing as the night advances.
For a main door on a wrong West pada, hang a metal toran of copper, brass, bronze, mixed metal or ashtadhatu made as the ashtamangal symbols, or a yellow or white swastik bandhanwar put up on a Saturday.
In the West, W4 (Pushpadant) showers wealth and W5 (Varun) also gives wealth, while W1, W2, W3, W6, W7 and W8 bring short life, overspending, loss of money, government trouble, disease and a destructive mind.
West is pure and sacred: goddesses live here, it is Shani's place, and Varun devta, the wealthiest devta, resides here with Pushpadant, so it is the zone of gain and profit. It suits bedrooms, tijori, temple and overhead tank, but must never be dug, dirtied or kept low.
After sunset the Moon pours its full energy first into the West, just as the sun pours its energy into the North-East before sunrise, so the West is the zone of profit and gains.
The Sun sets in the West but the effect falls on WNW, which brings tears, so Vedic vastu calls it the rudan kaksh (crying room); it is the zone of depression and low mood. It is the ideal place for a septic tank and suits waste and storage uses.
Having poured out all its energy in the West, the Moon is empty by the West-North-West, and the magnetic field and gravitational force become imbalanced there. This is the zone of depression, called the rudan kaksh (weeping room) in the texts, where the energy brings tears.
From 4:30 pm until sunset the Sun's rays turn cool and soothe the brain's neurons and glial cells, so WSW is the education zone and is very good for studying children. Most activities are allowed, but no fire, toilet or main door.
The West-South-West receives the energy of its opposite zone, the East-North-East, whose playfulness brings the water element and concentration to the neurons and glial cells. It is the best zone for study, and the sun, magnetic field and gravitational force strengthen memory here.
A basement is a fully dug (100% underground) floor where sun rays and cosmic energy cannot reach, making it a dead part where the planets cannot spread their energy.
Dowsing is the method of making an unknown or hidden object known, whether in the ground or in the body. The person is the dowser; a rod, pendulum or coconut is only a bridge that shows the movement, triggered by the hydro and geopathic currents rising from the earth.
Sun rays are described as miracle rays that carry silver, gold, iron, mercury, lead and other minerals as well as vitamin D and vitamin B12, each at a particular time around sunrise. No electric light can supply these.
A doctor's chamber is the best use of the Parjanya pad, and a conference room, a bedroom for peace and deep sleep, or a bath (yog snan) also suit it. A toilet or a main door here causes delays and female dominance.
Drawing room, office, puja room, conference room, underground water tank, borewell and a bedroom for elders suit the Shikhi pad. A main door, kitchen or toilet here harms the residents.
In a flat, wheat is grown in an earthen pot of good fertile soil, the way javare are grown in Navratri; the height and colour the shoots reach in nine days show how fertile and energetic the place is.
